Dr. Paula Harmon is widely recognized as one of the leading pediatric ear, nose, and throat (ENT) specialists and head and neck surgeons in the Southeastern United States. She holds dual board certifications in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery as well as complex pediatric otolaryngology. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a specialty fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, Dr. Harmon brings nearly two decades of expertise to her field.
Her clinical insights and thought leadership have been featured in numerous local and national media outlets, highlighting her as a trusted voice on pediatric ENT conditions.
Dr. Harmon’s academic background is as distinguished as her clinical career. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Spelman College and her Doctor of Medicine from the Morehouse School of Medicine. She completed her otolaryngology residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and pursued a fellowship in pediatric otolaryngology at Children’s of Alabama. Further strengthening her leadership and business acumen, she also earned an MBA from Emory University.
A dedicated physician and entrepreneur, Dr. Harmon previously served as an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Emory University. She now leads PENTA as its owner, and CEO.
Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Harmon is a devoted wife and mother of five young children, exemplifying her commitment to both family and medicine.
